so i know you can text a phone from your computer, but can you get a reply to the computer? say i can't use my phone cuz it's busted for the time being. does anyone know a program, site, something that i can read my reply to the text i sent from the computer. yeah so i was dumb and dropped my phone in water walking down the beach. went to put it back in my purse and there it slipped. leave it to me. lol so it's still activated just screwed. i know you can maybe set it up so that it goes to my email but don't know how to do that. and i think with aim, you could read your texts to your phone on aim somehow but also not sure. any help is apreciated!

I'm confused
you want to access the msgs you already have on the phone? Or when someone texts you, you wish to access that text/have it forwarded to somewhere by which you might access via the computer?
A person can really text from their phone to yours and have it automatically sent to a designated email address of your choice? I've never heard of that.
I know aim can be sent back and forth from phone to comp and vice versa. If your phone have pop3 you can retrieve emails via phone as well. But what you're asking, have a person send a txt from their phone to your phone and the carrier forward that to your email address/application, boggles me.
If anyone knows of how this is done, do post. I too am interested.
Can you turn on your phone at all?
Is it a sim chip or one that is not. If so, you can simply just switch the sim chip to another phone shrug.
i figured it out thanks. i'm gonna try putting it in a new phone..
